facilities. Please call us at (716) 693-3141.
Can
we visit our pet while they are hospitalized?
We
do not allow visits with your pet while he is hospitalized. Although
you may feel better if you see him, it may not help his recovery.
Visits often cause excessive nervous excitement for the pet being
visited and for other nearby patients. We must give primary consideration
to the welfare of all of our patients. At the discretion of the
doctor, visits are occasionally warranted and solicited.
What
are your admitting and releasing policies?
Pets
scheduled for inpatient treatment or surgery are admitted between
7:00 am and 9:00 am. Your pet will be released between 4:00 pm and
8:00 pm so we can make sure he has fully recovered from the treatment
and anesthesia. You will be given instructions and medication for
any needed home treatment.
