Bathing & Grooming

Treat your pet to a luxurious bath. Our special, cleansing baths remove dirt, debris and that doggie pet odor.

Your pet will feel fresh and revitalized. If scratching is a problem, our medicated baths contain soothing agents that stop the itching.

Start your pet at an early age on a regular grooming routine. Grooming is an important part of your pet's program. Routine brushing and combing removes dead hair and dirt and prevents matting. Grooming stimulates the blood supply to the skin, which will help give your pet a healthier and shinier coat. Call today to set up an appointment (716) 693-3141.

Dental technicians polish teeth to create a smooth, lustrous tooth surface more resistant to plaque buildup. Fluoride treatments help strengthen enamel and reduce tooth sensitivity. Advanced dental care is available, including fillings and root canals.

Grand Island Small Animal Hospital maintains its own in-house laboratory for tests such as complete blood counts, full profiles, urinalysis, fecal exams, and fungal cultures among others. We also send specialized tests to outside labs when indicated.

Diagnostic tests provide essential information by which our veterinarians can identify blood disorders, kidney and liver disease, diabetes, infection, cancer, thyroid disease and other hormonal problems.

Our extensive laboratory provides fast and accurate information that is necessary for the well being of your pet. Owing to our modern in-house diagnostic equipment, animals can receive appropriate treatment immediately after arriving at the hospital.

Heartworm Testing / Prevention - A potentially fatal disease, we can test your pet for heartworm and provide him (or her) with an appropriate preventive medication.
